High Hamlet is a small settlement of around 40 old, stone and wood houses perched on top of a tall cliff in the north-west of Martens.

The wind coming from the valley below rises just enough to clear the mist from the Greymoss Hunt forest nearby. Around the village, a few smokehouses are being run by rugged, elderly women, while many more sit empty and crumbling.

It seems like this place is half uninhabited. Moss, ivy, and lichen climb up the houses from the dirt and stone pathways that intersect the small village. Decades of smoke have made the walls darken, while the wood from the various buildings is all soggy and slippery by being exposed to the humid forest air.
